It has been an ongoing pleasure to partner with Arcimoto to assist with their sustained growth beginning with the AMP (Arcimoto Manufacturing Plant) in 2019. MAE Engineering is currently assisting the design team in the re-purposing of the downtown Eugene property into the new rAMP Mass Production Plant. The rAMP is currently producing vehicles while building improvements are underway and we are excited for this milestone for this amazing company.

Market of Choice – Distribution Warehouse Addition – Eugene, OR
The Market of Choice Distribution Warehouse Addition added more than 35,000 sqft of additional warehouse space marking yet another successful precast concrete tilt-up project for MAE engineering.
Along with the versatile precast concrete tilt-up panel design this project also incorporates concrete masonry units or cmu, steel brace frames, steel joists along with other structural elements making this hub of distribution function efficiently at its ever growing capacity.
High capacity concrete slabs offer a safe and durable solution for heavy storage and traffic areas allowing for a safe and durable surface to work on.

Pearl Street Parking Structure Stairs – Eugene, OR
Completed in the spring of 2018 this project consisted of giving the existing concrete and steel stairs at The Pearl Street Parking Structure a much needed makeover.
A priority for this project was to update the overall safety and durability of the existing steel stair system while maintaining as much of the existing stair structure as feasible.

Richardson Sports – Warehouse Expansion – Springfield, OR
Richardson Sports has been in business in the Eugene area for over 50 years! MAE Engineering is proud to have led the design team that helped this local business meet its growing demands adding more than 29,000 sqft of additional warehouse space.
The warehouse addition was constructed with 40 foot tall prestressed concrete panel walls on three sides. Complete with loading docks, a shipping office, breakroom, restrooms and more, this warehouse addition is designed to seamlessly integrate to the existing Richardson Sports facility giving this thriving business room to grow.

Incorporated with the prestressed concrete panel design is the steel brace and column system which works to keep this large space open as well as allowing for greater interior building heights that simply wouldn’t be practical with other building systems.
Prestressed concrete panels offer a simple design solution that lends itself perfectly to a large structure such as the Richardson Sports warehouse expansion. Allowing for accelerated construction schedules, this building system provides an efficient and durable design without sacrificing quality.

The LTD Santa Clara Station is up and running!

Jasper Mountain Crystal Creek – Jasper, OR
MAE had the pleasure of working with the design team on the Jasper Mountain facility. This breathtaking structure incorporates timber frame construction as well as steel, concrete and even a set of glass stairs!
Kendall Ford – Eugene, OR
With the demolition of the existing service area, Kendall Ford upgraded to a modern facility that includes fifty-nine service bays, six quick lube bays, and five customer service lanes.
After the project’s first phase was well under construction MAE assisted with foundation and component design for the service center. Later, we were contracted for the full structural design and associated seismic retrofitting for the 15,000 sf showroom.
This remodel involved removing multiple bearing walls to open the showroom floor. Additionally, the seismic retrofit involved Fiber Reinforced Polymer wraps (FRP) to strengthen and preserve the existing concrete systems. We were able to provide engineering services that was economical and timely to help the construction team get back to their desired schedule.
Bandon Christian Fellowship – Bandon OR
The Bandon Christian Fellowship addition is nearing completion! This project incorporated a General Steel Building – steel super structure with a court sized exercise room, education rooms and mezzanine structure. MAE worked side by side with the owner and Architect to help bring this project from concept to reality.
